Stay with us for the duration of the conference and enjoy a special group rate and free daily transportation to and from the conference venue at the Brookfield Zoo!
Conference participants can reserve a room at DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago - Oak Brook, located at 1909 Spring Road, Oak Brook, IL 60523, at the special rate of $119 per night plus tax.
The rate is valid from July 31 to August 4, 2018, for rooms with two double beds or one king bed. You may also extend your stay two days before and after these days at the same rate, based on room availability.
DoubleTree Oak Brook will provide free transportation to and from the Brookfield Zoo once in the morning and once in the evening of each conference day. The hotel also provides complimentary transportation to local area attractions within a five mile radius. Complimentary high speed internet access is available in all guest rooms.
How to Book a Room
Guests need to call central reservations at 866-812-3959 to make a reservation under the NAAEE (North American Association for Environmental Education) room block. Please specify if you are reserving a room with two double beds or one king bed. The $119/night rate is for the room, not per person, and all rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Reservations will be accepted at the group rate through 5pm Central Time on July 10, 2018, or until the reserved block has been filled, whichever comes first. Reservation requests received after the cut-off date will only be accepted on a space availability basis (i.e. register early!)
DoubleTree Oak Brook has accessible sleeping rooms and other accessible amenities (see a list on the hotel website). When booking your hotel room, you can request specific aids or services required for your stay.
The hotel is located near the intersection of interstate highways 294 and 88. O’Hare International Airport and Midway Airport are 10 and 15 miles away from the hotel, respectively. See the hotel’s Directions page for detailed directions and typical taxi service charges.
Don’t Be a “No Show”
If you have a confirmed room reservation and find that you are unable to attend the conference, be sure to notify the hotel as soon as possible to cancel your reservation. This will make it possible for another conference participant to book the room and minimize our group contract’s risk of guest room attrition.
